Year 5 Enrichment Week continued with creating Story Sticks this afternoon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️They look wonderful! The children learnt all about how sticks were used in the past to remind people about what they had seen on their travels so they could tell people all about it. The children chose their sticks and sanded them down before painting and decorating them. We will make a display of all 59 of them after Easter! Thank you to local artists Annie and Amanda for facilitating this and also to Mrs Dawes and Millie for helping. 🎨🖌️

The children in Foundation practised their geography skills this afternoon by following a map which led to some Easter eggs! 🪺
We learnt about the Birds Eye view, the importance of 'the key' and which directions we needed to take.
They will be creating their own maps by drawing the route that they followed!
Fingers crossed the Easter bunny turns our paper eggs into real chocolate eggs!! 🤞🏼 🐰
