Today, two of our school council members were selected to represent our school at a ‘Connect Council Meeting’ held at Eggbuckland Vale Primary School. They received their Connect Council badges and had the chance to meet and interact with other students their age representing schools from across the Connect Trust. During the meeting, a variety of ideas were shared, and the Council agreed on some common goals. ⭐️⭐️

Thank you to the House Captains for joining Mrs Maiden and Mr Keach at the Royal British Legion to lay wreaths. They had the chance to talk to veterans and take part in a special Remembrance Service. ❤️ Thank you to members of Mrs Keach’s Creative Club who also took along handmade Christmas decorations to hand out. 🌲 The school will have a special Remembrance Assembly on Monday and take part in the two minutes silence. We will remember them ❤️

The children in EYFS had a Diwali themed morning as they celebrated the Hindu Festival of Light. They learnt traditional Indian dances in the hall whilst dancing with their glow sticks in the hall and celebrated the morning with a feast! The children tasted naan bread, poppadom, pilau rice and mango chutney! Well done everyone! Happy Diwali! 🪔⭐️
